KuKirin G2 vs G2 Pro vs G2 Max vs G2 Ultra vs G2 Master: Which to Buy in Ireland

KuKirin G2, G2 Pro, G2 Max, G2 Ultra or G2 Master: which one should you buy in Ireland? All five share the same G2 frame idea, but the motor, battery, weight and price differ a lot. This guide compares them side by side with Lifty Electric's current Irish prices, so you can pick the right one before you order.

Quick answer: the G2 Pro (€549) is the lightest and cheapest; the G2 2026 (€589) adds a stronger 800W motor and 10" tyres; the G2 Max (€709) has the biggest battery for range; the G2 Ultra (€749) is the cheapest dual-motor G2 for hills; the G2 Master (€909) is the most powerful, with hydraulic suspension. None of them is legal on Irish public roads: they are for lawful private-land use only.

Important: these are private-land scooters in Ireland

Irish law allows e-scooters on public roads only if they meet the rules, including a maximum continuous rated power of 400W, a design speed of 20 km/h and a weight of 25 kg or less. Every G2 model exceeds the power limit, and their claimed top speeds (45–60 km/h) are far above 20 km/h. Turning the speed down in the settings does not make a scooter road-legal. Buy a G2 only for lawful use on private land with the landowner's permission. If you need a scooter for commuting on Irish roads, start with our regulations-ready electric scooters and read the Irish e-scooter rules.

KuKirin G2 vs G2 Pro: which is better?

The G2 Pro is €40 cheaper and slightly lighter (25.0 kg vs 25.3 kg), with a larger battery on paper (749 Wh vs 720 Wh) and dual spring suspension. The G2 (2026) has the stronger motor (800W rated, 29 Nm vs 600W, 23 Nm) and bigger 10" tyres, which feel steadier over rough surfaces. Choose the G2 Pro if price and weight matter most; choose the G2 2026 if you want more pull and a calmer ride on bigger wheels.

Older reviews often call these the Kugoo G2 or Kugoo Kirin G2 Pro: KuKirin is the brand's current European name. Production runs change, so trust the specification on the product page rather than an old review.

KuKirin G2 Max vs G2 Pro

The G2 Max is the range pick. Its 998 Wh battery is about a third bigger than the G2 Pro's, its motor is rated at 1,000W, and its claimed range is up to 80 km. The trade-offs are weight (31.7 kg, almost 7 kg heavier), price (€160 more), longer charging (about 10.5 hours) and tube-type pneumatic tyres, which are comfortable but can puncture. If you would carry the scooter up stairs, the G2 Pro is far easier to live with.

KuKirin G2 Ultra vs G2 Max

The G2 Ultra has two 800W motors instead of one, so it grips and climbs better and accelerates harder, especially on wet or loose ground. The G2 Max has the bigger battery (998 Wh vs 864 Wh) and a longer claimed range (80 km vs 55 km) for €40 less. Pick the Ultra for hills and traction; pick the Max for distance.

KuKirin G2 Master: is it worth the extra?

The G2 Master is the top of the range: two 1,000W motors on a 52V, 1,082 Wh battery and hydraulic shock absorbers. It is the best choice for heavier riders, steep private tracks and anyone who wants the strongest G2. It is also the heaviest at 33 kg. If you are weighing it against the bigger G4, read our KuKirin G2 Master vs G4 guide.
