Electric scooters Dublin & Ireland: choose for your route
Compare electric scooters from Segway Ninebot, KuKirin, Dualtron and Teverun at Lifty Electric. Browse the models below for current prices and availability, with showroom and workshop support at 157 Capel Street, Dublin 1, D01 F5P1.
Start with where you will ride
- Regulations-ready commuter scooters: for buyers checking an Irish public-road configuration. Verify the exact model's manufacturer plate, design speed, continuous rated power, weight and required equipment.
- Long-range scooters: compare battery watt-hours and your full return journey with reserve. Manufacturer maximum range varies with rider weight, hills, wind, temperature and riding mode. Range alone does not establish road legality.
- Performance scooters and off-road models: for lawful private-land use where the vehicle exceeds public-road limits. Check carrying weight, suspension, brakes and maintenance needs before buying.
Compare two different scooter setups
Start with how and where you intend to ride, then compare the individual product specifications. These examples serve different needs; check the exact version and current availability on each product page.
| Model | Listed specification | Buying consideration |
|---|---|---|
| InMotion S1 (20 km/h) | 675 Wh battery; 24 kg; 10-inch tubeless tyres | Compare carrying weight, suspension and charging arrangements for your journey. |
| Dualtron Thunder 3 | 72V 40Ah battery; 51.2 kg; hydraulic disc brakes | Private-land performance model; plan storage, loading and servicing. |
For replacement components, browse electric scooter parts and confirm compatibility with your exact model before ordering.
Irish road rules: checked 10 October 2026
RSA guidance sets public-road limits of 20 km/h design speed, 400W maximum continuous rated power and 25kg maximum weight, alongside other technical requirements. Riders must be 18 or older, wear a securely fastened helmet and wear high-visibility clothing covering the front and back of the torso. Footpaths, pedestrianised areas and motorways are prohibited. Do not carry passengers or goods.
The age requirement changed on 2 October 2026; helmet and high-visibility requirements changed on 4 September 2026. Read current RSA guidance before riding. A lower-speed setting on a high-powered model does not itself establish compliance.
Compare more than speed and price
- Storage: check total weight, folded dimensions and the route to your charging space.
- Comfort: compare tyres, suspension and your usual road surface.
- Ownership cost: include delivery, compatible replacement tyres, brake servicing and the warranty process.
- Support: confirm parts availability for the exact version before purchasing.
