Yes. Lifty accepts eligible orders for Switzerland, Germany, the United Kingdom, Norway, Sweden, Finland, France, Malta, and Cyprus. Product eligibility depends on packed parcel dimensions, total battery capacity (Wh), and courier carrier acceptance for your destination.
Are customs duties and import taxes included in checkout?
For EU member destinations (Germany, France, Sweden, Finland, Malta, Cyprus), orders travel under internal EU trade rules with zero customs duty or additional border clearance fees. For non-EU nations (Switzerland, Norway, United Kingdom), local import VAT, customs tariffs, and handling charges may be levied by your domestic customs authority upon entry.
Can every lithium-battery product be shipped by air or courier?
No. Lithium batteries over 100Wh are regulated dangerous goods under IATA and ADR conventions. Complete vehicles with installed batteries ship via specialized road and maritime freight routes. Standalone batteries and oversized vehicles may have limited route availability.
How does the international warranty operate?
Manufacturer warranties are fully supported by Lifty Electric. For customers outside Ireland (UK, Europe, USA), warranty claims operate as a dedicated parts-only service: our workshop team performs remote video/diagnostic assessments, and verified replacement parts are dispatched directly to your address.
