FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Everything you need to know about deposits, weekly payments, delivery dates, and showroom collection for Christmas 2026.
HOW DOES THE LIFTY CHRISTMAS CLUB DEPOSIT SCHEME WORK?
The Lifty Christmas Club allows you to secure any electric bike, performance e-scooter, or riding gear well in advance of the holiday rush. You place a flat €50 deposit, which immediately reserves your place and assigns your specific vehicle serial number in our secure Dublin facility. Your €50 is 100% applied towards your vehicle balance, and you spread the remaining balance over comfortable weekly or fortnightly installments until 5 December 2026.
ARE THERE ANY INTEREST CHARGES, FEES, OR CREDIT CHECKS?
Zero interest, 0% APR, and zero credit checks. Unlike third-party financing companies or credit cards that charge interest or application fees, our Christmas Club is a direct layaway agreement with Lifty Electric. You simply pay the exact retail cash price of your bike or scooter divided over your chosen payment schedule.
WHAT ARE THE CRITICAL CUTOFF DATES FOR CHRISTMAS 2026?
To guarantee holiday fulfillment, please note the following key deadlines:
- Mid-November (15 November 2026): Guaranteed manufacturer allocation cutoff for high-demand models.
- 05 December 2026: Final balance deadline for all Christmas Club accounts.
- 10 December 2026: Final dispatch date for guaranteed nationwide delivery across Ireland.
- 15 December 2026: Dublin showroom collection date at 157 Capel Street (with collection appointments through 23 December).
DOES LIFTY FULLY ASSEMBLE AND INSPECT THE VEHICLE BEFORE HANDOVER?
Yes. Every vehicle collected from our Capel Street showroom undergoes a complete Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) by certified Lifty Labs workshop technicians. We unpack the bike or scooter, torque every bolt to manufacturer specifications, calibrate the disc brakes and gears, inflate tires to optimal PSI, test the electrical system, and fully charge the battery. When you collect on December 15, your gift is 100% ready to ride immediately under the Christmas tree.
HOW DOES NATIONWIDE DELIVERY WORK ACROSS IRELAND?
We ship nationwide across all 26 counties in Ireland. Standard delivery for e-bikes is €69.99 (which includes full Dublin workshop PDI prior to secure boxed freight dispatch); heavy cargo bikes are €149.00. Free nationwide delivery applies strictly to orders over €4,000 within Ireland. All Christmas deliveries dispatch by 10 December 2026 with full track-and-trace. (Note: Electric unicycles/EUCs and UTO brand models are strictly collection-only from our Dublin showroom.)
HOW DO I MAKE MY WEEKLY PAYMENTS?
You can make payments in three convenient ways:
- Direct Bank Transfer: Use your unique Christmas Club reference code to transfer payments directly via your banking app each week.
- Online Payment Links: We can issue secure debit/credit card payment links.
- In-Store: Pop into 157 Capel Street to pay via card or cash over the counter.
CAN I ADD ACCESSORIES LIKE LOCKS AND HELMETS TO MY CLUB ORDER?
Absolutely. You can add angle-grinder proof locks (like the Hiplok D1000), alarm folding locks, smart LED helmets, high-lumen headlights, mudguards, phone mounts, or child seats into your total Christmas Club order and spread the combined balance across your weekly installments.
