HOW WE ELECTRIFY YOUR BIKE

A full engineering conversion in four stages, performed on the bench at our Capel Street lab. Installation typically takes up to 3 business days.

€49 SUITABILITY CHECK

Send us your make, model and frame photos. We confirm wheel size, bottom bracket standard and drop-out spacing, and recommend the exact kit for your bike. The €49 is fully discounted from your final installed conversion.

KIT SELECTION

Choose hub-motor or mid-drive, 500W or 750W, with or without a 48V battery. We match motor torque and battery capacity to your commute.

BENCH INSTALLATION

Motor wheel laced and trued, controller and display mounted, hydraulic brakes checked, full loom routed and torqued to spec by our technicians.

TEST & HANDOVER

Static power-up, road-test, assistance levels configured, and a walk-through of display functions and charging. You collect your e-bike within 3 business days.

Higher-capacity 48V 17.5Ah (840Wh) Samsung-cell battery upgrades available on request. All kits are supplied configured to the Irish 25 km/h legal assistance limit unless a private-property configuration is requested in writing. Batteries are mounted in a lockable downtube case with included charger.

COMPATIBILITY

WILL IT FIT MY BIKE?

Our conversions fit the vast majority of aluminium and steel-framed push bikes — road, hybrid, commuter, touring and hardtail MTB frames. Brands like Giant, Trek, Specialized, Cube, Ridgeback and Decathlon models convert perfectly.

HUB-MOTOR KITS

Fit most bikes with standard 135mm rear drop-outs and 26"–29" wheels. Ideal for hybrids and commuters.

MID-DRIVE KITS

Fit 68–73mm (BSA) or 100mm bottom brackets. Best for road, gravel and mountain frames with derailleur gears.

BATTERIES

48V 13Ah (624Wh) Hailong downtube packs fitted as standard; 17.5Ah (840Wh) Samsung-cell upgrade available.

CONVERSION QUESTIONS

How long does installation take?

Installation typically takes up to 3 business days, depending on kit type and workshop schedule. We confirm your exact collection time when you book.

Can I bring any brand of bike?

Almost any. Aluminium or steel frames with standard drop-outs and bottom brackets convert cleanly. We check carbon frames, internal gear hubs and belt drives individually before accepting a booking, as some require alternative mounting solutions. A €49 suitability check confirms exact fitment before we begin.

What range will I get with the battery package?

The 48V 13Ah (624Wh) pack delivers approximately 50–70 km of assisted riding on flat Dublin terrain, depending on assistance level, rider weight and conditions. The 17.5Ah (840Wh) upgrade extends this to roughly 70–100 km.

Does the conversion affect my brakes or gears?

Installation includes a full brake inspection and adjustment at no extra cost. Mid-drive kits drive through your existing gears, so shifting is untouched. We recommend hydraulic or quality mechanical disc brakes for 750W builds and will advise during the €49 suitability check.

What warranty do I get?

Every installation carries a 6-month Lifty Labs workmanship guarantee covering fitting, wiring and configuration. Kit components carry the manufacturer warranty. Post-installation servicing and diagnostics are available at our Capel Street workshop year-round.
